Black Sheep Mountainbiking

Incredible trip lead by Bas, our black sheep guide. We had varying experience (from regular riders to not touched a bike for a while) and fitness levels with the group and Bas meticulously designed a tour that had options within it for everyone to find their limits and come away completely spent and satisfied.

Day one hit the ground running with a gondola all the way to the summit with a decent to the bottom for us to suss our Stevens E-Inception bikes out, and Bas to suss our riding ability out. He immediately changed the course based on a better-than-he’d-initially-thought assessment and we were hitting steeps, roots and rocks on exposed routes by the afternoon. From then on until the end of day 3 we got to experience most of what the mountain had to offer from smooth runs through wildlife, beautiful open valleys, technical climbs which were incredible on the e-bikes, rooty soul shuddering adrenaline-soaked descents, fast bike park laps and breathtaking scenery round every single turn.

Davos is a truly incredible place and must be seen, it’s the most beautiful mountain range I’ve had the pleasure of spending time in.

To summarise:- Bas and the black sheep crew are the best in the game. Bas created our own bespoke trip, just like he does on his winter back country tours, and he tentatively made sure we were absolutely satisfied and stretched at all times, giving out riding tips and expert tuition along the way for us to work on as we shred. Get involved, you won’t regret it! He loves what he does, and this is plain for all to see, which really comes through in his riding and his approach to guiding. We all had an amazing time, and it will be an annual thing for us now for sure.

Took my first mountain biking trip with Black Sheep with some more experienced biking friends. Amazing experience in the mountains! Bas was able to guide on technique and tailor our daily routes to be rideable by all as well as challenging for the more experienced riders. Super fun in an amazing setting, will definitely return!

Thanks for an incredible trip Bas. Davos and Klosters was the most beautiful back drop. I've had a number of guiding experiences and this was possibly the best. We did 3 days trekking last weekend. Your choice of trails, e-bike rentals, accommodation, distances etc were all superb. I appreciated your patient manner and positive outlook. Clearly highly experienced and very professional. Hope to be back riding with you again soon. Would highly recommend to any mountain biker irrespective of ability.

Came out from the US. From the beginning, Bas & Co did a great job of communicating with us to set up the trip. The trip was incredible! Better than I could've imagined. The work and effort Bas put into picking the route, the trails, and accommodations was evident. The ride had a wide variety of trail types and features with amazing views all around. We (group of 6) went on the 3 Countries Traverse with Bas in June this year. It was an amazing tour, and Bas really had every bit of this trip dialed. We got to ride a variety of different terrain and rode through stunning mountains. It was a good mix of bike packing, terrain park, and technical terrain aka hike-a-bike. Bas was a considerate leader and guided us from point A to point B with the knowledge of someone who has ridden these trails many many times. Thanks for the great tour!
